With Drugs there is pleasure and death – and everything in between.
The consequences form a spectrum, a continuum, infinite shades of grey.

This feature length drama (85 mins) provides a snap shot into the lives of a group of ’recreational drug users’ living in Melbourne, Australia. The group use a variety of drugs, in particular amphetamine-type stimulants methamphetamine, MDMA and cocaine in a range of situations.
The film is designed to appeal to a broad audience; depicting situations that may be familiar to recreational users while avoiding the demonisation of drug use. The content of the film is specifically relevant to those who are ambivalent about their drug use. The story highlights some of the perceived positive and not so positive things associated with their drug use whilst subtly delivering a number of key harm reduction messages.
The film was test-screened on July 8th 2010 at the Westgarth Cinema in Melbourne. We have had a lot of feedback about the film since the launch and are keen to incorporate some changes before we make the film publically available. These changes will take a few months to shoot and edit.
Sorry for the delay, but we believe it's worth it to make the film the best we think it can be.
